Further, you will assist and cooperate as fully as reasonably required by RedFlag in the defence of any such claim or demand.

RedFlag, and applicable third parties, hold all right, title, and interest in and to the Website and associated content available on or through the Website, including without limitation all information in text, graphical, video and audio formats, images, icons, designs, software, applications ("Content"). You acknowledge that the Content is protected by Canadian and international copyright, patent, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Unless otherwise explicitly stated, all Services and other materials found on this Website are solely directed to individuals, companies or other entities located in Canada. If you use this Website from outside Canada, you are entirely responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. This Agreement, your use of the Website, and all related matters shall be governed solely by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to the conflicts of law provisions of any jurisdiction. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario in the City of Toronto in relation to all disputes arising from or related to this Agreement, your use of the Website and any related matters.
TERMINATION
If you breach any provision of this Agreement, you may no longer use the Website. RedFlag may, in its sole discretion, change, suspend or terminate, temporarily or permanently, the Website or any part of it or any of its features at any time, for any reason, without any notice or liability to you or any other person. If this Agreement or your permission to use the Website is terminated by you or RedFlag for any reason, this Agreement will nevertheless continue to apply and be binding upon you in respect of your prior use of the Website and anything connected with, relating to or arising from such use. The parties have expressly requested and required that this Agreement and all other related documents be drawn up in the English language. 1. Before You Post: General Tips
Put your best foot forward! Read the following tips before posting and you won't make a rookie mistake!
- If you have recently created an account, but cannot post, it is likely because you did not activate your account. An email was sent to the email account you registered with that contained a confirmation link. If you have lost this email, please send an email to support@redflagdeals.com explaining your problem. The email must come from the email account you registered with.
- Before asking a question, use the search function to see if it has already been asked and answered.
- Before posting to the Hot Deals forum, use the search function to see if it has already been posted.
- When posting your hot deal, your headline should include at the items that are on sale and the price the retailer is charging for it. In your actual message be sure to include that same information as well as the retailers name and a link to their webpage if possible. To make the post as helpful as possible to other members of the community, see if you can cover the 5 W's and how.
2. General Rules
The following rules apply to all forums on Scarlett Lounge. Please read them carefully. If there is anything you do not understand, please send a message to
support@redflagdeals.com.
The following rules will be enforced at the discretion the moderators or administrators:
- No SPAM. This includes promoting a company or service in your signature or sending unsolicited messages through the Private Messaging system.
- If you wish to promote your company, please contact biz@redflagdeals.com.
- No multi-level marketing, pyramid, and get-rich schemes allowed.
- No affiliate and/or referral links. This includes soliciting referrals in your signature, posts, or asking for private message referrals. We have to draw a hardline on this otherwise SPAM will quickly overrun the boards. For more information on affiliate links, see section 6 of this document.
- No 'free money' or 'paid to surf' threads. Once again, to minimize spam and due to their dubious reputation.
- No cross posting or linking to Scarlett Lounge/RedFlagDeals.com competitors.
- This is a PG rated site. This means that no deals for pornography or weapons will be allowed.
- Avatars must be rated PG.
- Links to x-rated material is strictly prohibited.
- Sexual discussions may be edited for content or removed entirely.
- Discrimination against individual sexual preferences, race, gender or religion will not be tolerated. Personal attacks of any sort are uncalled for and will not be tolerated. This includes sending messages through the private messaging system.
- There will no warning sent to those who personally attack another member or hurl hate filled messages at groups of people. The penalties for making such an attack either through a post, signature or through the private messaging system are now as follows:
- 1st Offence: 3 day ban
- 2nd Offence: 14 day ban
- 3rd Offence: 30 day ban
- 4th Offence: Permanent ban
If you are banned, an explanation message will appear when you try to access the site. If you're not sure why you were banned, please e-mail support@redflagdeals.com for a more detailed explanation.
In extreme cases a harsher penalty may be delivered even if it is only a 1st or 2nd offence. Not seeing this message is no excuse.
- Only one forum account is allowed per individual person. People found to have multiple accounts who are using them in a benign manner will be given the choice of which account they would like to keep. If a user has multiple accounts in order to commit fraud or to circumvent a ban or any other rule, they will have all of their accounts banned and will not be allowed back into the forums ever.
- We do not allow the discussion of illegal activities. For example, where to download pirated games or movies.
- This is a site focused on deals, so political or otherwise controversial content should not be placed in signatures.
