Better to go to the states and buy it at the store

My husband, being American and grew up on this stuff always requests the beefsticks and mustards for his birthday. I'm extremely disappointed about the selection that they have on the Canadian version of the website year round, and can't quite understand why they sell the beefsticks and mustards at Christmas time and stop selling them exactly on the last day of February. I tried making a purchase on Feb 29, 2008, only to find out that the website was having difficulties and decided that I'll try again the following day. With no warning, I tried the following day only to find out that the products had been pulled off the website and here I was left with no birthday gift. Getting desperate, I ended up ordering from the US website and chose the date that my shipment was to arrive by. Since they were shipping to a US address, I needed the shipment to arrive a couple of days before I arrived so that I would be able to pick it up myself. (I had put the order in 3 weeks before the delivery date - thinking that was ample time for it to be delivered. March 21 was the date it was supposed to arrive. It finally arrived on March 24 - after I arrived and left.) Least to say that my husband eventually got his birthday present - 2 months later - when I found time to go pick it up :( I also found out that I wouldn't have to go through all this aggravation had I just simply walked into one of the local malls in the US and just picked up the beefsticks myself.
