    I had been a previous customer of Factory Direct and one day decided to order a $30 personal care product off of their website purely for the convenience factor. BAD IDEA! I started wondering after 2 months where it was and it has now been almost a year and I have forgotten about it. It's simply not worth my time to argue with them to get my $30 back. They just lost me as a lifetime customer and I will NOT recommend them to anyone. PLEASE SHOP WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!

  • What? A good review for Factory Direct? It can\'t be...

    Seriously...I'm as surprised as anyone else considering the rep they have on the forums and the 1.95/5 rating (as of this review date) but not only was everything fine it arrived over a full week over the estimated ETA when I placed the order.

    They even included a used mouse and keyboard with the off lease PC I ordered - neither of which were listed as being included in the description or shown on the website picture.

    Don't get me wrong - I'd still be cautious ordering from them and I'd take this review with a grain of salt as a fluke however sometimes FD has a *mind-blowing* deal and it's worth dealing with the poor customer service so many complain about in the forums.

  • A poor store trying to save every penny.

    Terrible experience. A $14.99 MS Lifechat ZX-6000 Headset (Refurb) was on sale for $9.99 with coupon. I went to the Mississauga site and they had 6 left. Store sales person said my coupon was invalid as one of the serial numbers was off (really?). Asked for the manager and he came over saying that it's not the same product as the ear piece they have is althought the same, the circuit board inside was from Segate (Don't they just make hard drives??). I told them to keep the 5 dollar savings for their creativity. The kicker was when they asked if I still wanted to keep my coupon (are they kidding me??). It was more of a gadget than anything but I found it amusing at the trouble they were going through.

  • Terrible retailer with terrible support

    I ordered two MS NATURAL WIRELESS LASER 6000 mice a couple of weeks ago, and my delivery date was almost here, yet I didn't receive a shipment email yet.

    So I called them and when someone finally picked up they told me they had run out of mice and couldn't send them to me. That was their excuse. Not that they'd ship them later or anything, but that they wouldn't ship. And they wouldn't have ever let me know if I hadn't called them.

    How hard can it be to set up a website that counts how many orders have been placed so that people can't order stuff that isn't in stock?

    No, they didn't apologize, they didn't offer me any replacement, deal or discount for my totally wasted time, they basically couldn't have cared less.

    Thus, I can't care less about them and will never ever order from them again. I also advise anyone to never buy anything from them, unless they want to encourage this type of bad business.

    Several days ago, this company posted a deal with MS NaturalĀ® Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 for 9.99 dollars. Finally I ordered two. Then, today I received two more cheaper MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2000.

    I am cheated. Horrible company.
    DO NOT BUY ANY STUFFS FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!!!!
