| Hot dress for attending a wedding needed! |

I'm going to a wedding soon and I need a hot dress (fashionable mind you!) to wear. It'll be in the winter and I'm not sure whether or not to wear short dresses that are out now or go for a longer dress because of the weather.
I know a couple of people that will be attending that I have not seen for ages that will be there and so I want to look amazing! Are there any places where you ladies have gotten great dresses? I've been looking around but I see prom-like dresses or dresses that are made out of really thin material that look suitable for summer. My budget is around $250 and I really want to find something that is classy and not overly trendy that I can't wear the dress again for another event. |

I would highly recommend BCBG and Banana Republic, both of which have stores nationwide (in-store, as there's no delivery to Canada).
You're more likely to find something in BCBG but they can be fairly pricey for the longer gowns ($300-$400). It was my brother's wedding this summer and I had quite a challenge finding the dress and ended up with an orange organza one that was prom-like but not too poofy, so I wish you all the best! |

You can always try Want Boutique at Yonge and St. Clair. It's subway accessible and their collection is impressive. Megan, the store manager, is absolutely fantastic. Good Luck!!

thank u!!
I did check out BCBG and found a really great halter-style dress but it's a little over my budget but I'm thinking it's a splurge worth spending on! I've never been to Want Boutique but I'll deft. check that place out! |

Want is definitely at the same price if not more than BCBG. Can't go wrong with a BCBG dress.

BCBG is a great option but can get pricey. If you have the time, I would go to Buffalo.... not only do they have much more selection, they are much less expensive. My go-to store is EXPRESS -- I have bought many party dresses/outfits there and have alwasy gotten compliemnts! Trendy, cute and well-fitting party dresses go for around $100US. Even the department stores like Macy's and Nordstroms in the states carry lots of different brands at a variety of price points. Happy shopping!
