Starbucks VIA

Starbucks is rolling out their new instant coffee today, Starbucks VIA. They say it tastes just as good as any cup of freshly brewed Starbucks coffee. Anyone try it yet?

They have a limited selection. I think only two brews.

I was hoping someone had posted thier opinion after trying it. I know Nescafe is going after them with an advertising campaign and heavily discounted pricing on their product. But really, can they compare?

instant crystals are icky...the starbucks ones were no better

It's very close to a freshly brewed cup of Starbucks, but both the flavour and aroma weren't quite as rich. I do think it tastes better than other instant coffees that I've tried but if I'm going to pay a premium for VIA, I'd rather just go to Starbucks.
