Word on the Street (a book fair that literally takes up the streets all around Queens Park) is on next weekend in downtown, and all the major publishing houses will be there.
If you have an idea of the books you want, WOTS will have them for much cheaper. And, if you don't find what you're looking for, then Indigo is right up the street! And Victoria College of U of T (next to Queens Park) also has their used book sale on at the same time, and the books are dirt cheap. Like you can get a hardcover for $1-3 and on their last day, fill and entire box for $10! Just something to think about. |

Hey! I love reading books, especially in the summer as it helps to pass the time. One book I bought this summer turned out to be the best thing I eve bought. It was only $4 and well worth the money! The book is called "And You Know You Should Be Glad" by Bob Greene. It talks about his last moments with his best friend who is battle cancer. The two have been friends since high school, and it is truly an amazing story. I have a review uploaded on youtube if you want to know a bit more about it. It isn't long and it is written in a way that makes it a good choice for anyone who wants to read a good book.
