Hi Jane,
I ended up going with an independent school, which really means that it's one lady who teaches out of her studio. I wish I had taken the course elsewhere as I might have gained more experience. My advice is go with a 'recognized' school - GB and Complections are very expensive but offer a wide range of topics. Also they will help you get out into the field, I am now at a crossroads where I have to venture out on my own..no business skills at all. So right now I'm looking into taking a business course to help me. Have you looked into the Seneca program? Feel free to msg me if you have any questions!

You should really look at into Wink Makeup Academy. Rumor has it the instructors use to work at Yorkville school of makeup and put most of their program together when it first started. They also worked at the School of Proffesional Makeup and now opened up a makeup school themselves. They are getting great review from people in the industry such as Nabet which is a film union. That's how I heard about them. A friend of mine is an makeup artist on film sets and told me thier students producing quality work. You should visit them and see if they are what you are looking for.
