Have any of you done makeup lessons, like the ones that many of the department store makeup counters offer?
I've always wanted to try the Mac ones but am not sure it's worth it?? |

I do the Mac ones when I have an event to go to. At the Bay Macs it's a $50 commitment to buy products afterwards. It's been really good and after doing quite a few I know pretty much how they do it If you do it at a regular Mac store, it's a $50 fee as opposed to a product commitment.

The MAC ones are really worth it. I'm not sure about other brand but MAC has really high required qualifications for their staff.

My local drugstore offers free makeovers, or will have a makeup artist in on certain days. You need to ask at your own drugstore. They may even give you free samples if you purchase any products as well.

I've done the MAC ones, just before an event. I've also had one done at Sephora. They did the full face for me, and the same for Murale. Murale was free, MAC and Sephora you have a commitment to buy products
