I have Victoria's Secret devoted friends that will make the trip to Buffalo just for the coveted lingerie.

I have never gone and insist that La Senza is just as good, and when you factor in the cost of travel and exchange rate, shopping here is a much better bet.

Am I missing something or is Victoria's Secret just hype

VS is just like La Senza but with more styles. Depends on your body shape. I honestly don't like them - I'm pretty small and their underwear is cut for women with bigger butts so they fit me terribly. The materials are only so-so in quality and they pill a lot over time. The bras are pretty but not amazing. There are much nicer brands on the market.

I'm a devoted VS fan. I am on the smaller side so their Very Sexy line is great. I really don't like La Senza. Their bras have some weird plastic on the inside on the lining that gives me a rash. VS underwear is great too and lasts a long time. And VS has good deals like they have a perpetual coupon online that I take in store for $10 off a bra and a free panty. I got a free pair of Aerie underwear and by the 3rd wash or so the elastic was detaching from the fabric.

1 thing I love at VS that La Senza doesn't have (or has very little in stock) is makeup. I like the Heidi Klum collection and Very Sexy makeup. Also the Secret Garden body wash is awesome. I saw that La Senza now has its own body wash brand and no longer carries Secret Garden, am not sure whether the quality is the same

I have to say while VS is more expensive than La Senza, I think VS bras are better quality and last longer. For example I have VS bras that have lasted me a couple years whereas I find La Senza bras stretch out on me within 6 months forcing me to buy replacements for them sooner than VS bras.

(On that note, I have to also give my preference for La Vie en Rose for bra quality over La Senza, I find La Vie bras last a bit longer than La Senza also.)
