Little Black Dress?

I've taken stock of my closet and have an array of colourful dresses and tops for spring/summer but don't have the essential little black dress

!

My wardrobe is essentially starting completely afresh this season so I was bound to forget such essentials. Where do I start, Winners? Banana Republic? All I see are colours in all stores, and I don't need more colour, I need a sexy but practical LBD!

You can definitely still find black dresses - personally I find that online has better selection.

Check out Saks and Neimans for a nice variety. I have Black Halo, DVF, Laundry and Nicole Miller black dresses that are sexy and well-made.

If you're on a bit more of a budget, J Crew has an entire section on their website dedicated to little black dresses:
