The nearly nude photos of model Lizzie Miller are one of the first to show a "plus size" model looking glam. She's well-proportioned, and so beautiful. Is this just a fashion tease or are we going to start seeing some real models? Here's hoping!

Hmm. They could have made her sit in a more flattering position. But I guess that's what women want to see: other women who have little fatty bellies to reassure themselves. I agree that she looks good in the photo though. I like her smile. It's very genuine. I'll read the article later, too lazy right now.

A few designers in Europe had vowed to start featuring more "plus sized" models (which is actually their term for regular sized women of sizes 8-14). However, I have yet to see this happening on their runways. It's very disappointing to see that when a magazine features a "plus sized" model every once in a blue moon, it gets such reviews as "extraordinary" and applause-worthy. If it were so extraordinary and fabulous to feature such models, then why aren't they the mainstream?
