LOULOU's most recent fashion feature is all about denim and it's got me in a jeans-wearing kind of mood. I am torn between all the new hot styles for the fall season:
Destroyed denim (as seen on celebs like Cameron Diaz) is one of my favourite denim trends for this year. I wouldn't opt for a pair that looks like they were just mauled by an animal, but a few rips and tears add character, don't you think?
I've also recently been turned on to the coloured denim trend. Bright colours hit the runways a few years back, but this season is all about pastel jeans. You'll be able to find them everywhere. From designer denim brands to American Apparel, everyone seems to be hot on this pastel trend!
In terms of cut, bell bottoms are also big this season, which is great for girls like me! You see, if you have a little more junk in the trunk than you'd like, the bell bottom jean will give your body a little bit more of an hourglass look. If Victoria Beckham can get a curvier body with bell bottoms than I don't know who can't!
The boyfriend jean is also still hot for fall; and apparently white denim is in!
