  'Tis the season to be shopping, fa, la, la, la...don't make me sing! It's mid-November and as a savvy shopper now's your chance to get a head start on that Holiday gift list. All you have to do is check out our Splurge vs. Steal Gift Guide, click and you're done! Splurge and make us envious if you want to or steal a similar look and feel like a million for less; it's really that easy!
  
  Of course who can forget that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up next week. We'll have all the hottest deals and you won't even need to cross the border. Canadians have jumped on this American tradition so you'll likely find deals with many of your favourite Canadian retailers as well.
  
  Last but not least, if you want to mall-hop do so prepared with our National Mall Hours. Get complete holiday shopping (including Boxing Day) details on the 30 largest malls across Canada.

• October Shopping Diary

  Welcome to my closet (and my beauty cabinet while you're at it), which is filled with my favourite buys from the Scarlett Lounge deals. I always get the question: "Do you actually use Scarlett Lounge?". The answer is: YES! I feel like I should declare that I'm not just the editor, I'm also a devoted shopper (akin to a hair loss commercial that shall go nameless). What did I buy in the last couple of weeks? Let's see, where to begin...
  
  I was torn between the Clinique and Lancome bonuses, and ultimately went with the Clinique one because I was dying to try the new High Definition Lashes Brush Then Comb Mascara — it has a comb for your lashes! Plus the Milly cosmetics bag with the Clinigue bonus is even more adorable in person. I also shopped the Bay Days (ending TODAY!) and stocked up on some high-end Baia suit jackets (regular $88, 30% off — the pictured separates are also great) and Nine West sweaters.
  
  A purchase I'm still pondering is the Leather Pants from Shopbop.com, I mean, I love them but where to wear them and with what? I'm sure I'll figure it out (advice is welcome). One purchase that will go with anything is my suit set from Suzy Shier, I bought the Salma Blazer for $45 and got the matching bottoms for FREE!
  
  I do shop a lot, but then again, I save so much it's worth it!
